While I don't have a complete answer for you, I wonder if you had reached out to the folks at the Canvas Help Desk about this issue in Commons? I'm not sure what "code: INVALID_LAUNCH" means with respect to Commons, but I'm hopeful that, by now, you've been able to get this resolved on your end...or that the issue resolved on its own.
