Hi all,
Having trouble with using the range feature in the rubrics. I want the range to be 8-6, 5-3, 2-0.
What Canvas does is 8-6, 6-3, 3-0. This is not what I want.
Is there a way to have it do the ranges I want? Is there a vote already started with this issue?
Thanks,
Marjorie

@mbazluki , correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the range should show up on the rubric like this: 8 to >6 pts, 6 to >3 pts, 3 to > 0pts.
If the range was 8-6, 5-3, 2-0, then where would a 5.5 or 2.2 go on the rubric? The range values that Canvas uses takes into account that the first category can be any value from 8 to greater than 6, the second is 6 to greater than 3, and the third is 3 to greater than 0. Based on this we can correctly put the 5.5 value in the second category and the 2.2 in the third category. Does this help/make sense?
Yet, I also know others would like the range values tweaked as well, so I would also recommend voting and commenting on this feature idea - https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/10294-change-rubric-point-range-to-equal-or-more-than
