Purchased templates causing issues with courses when imported

Purchased canvas templates causing changes to the course after importing from the commons - including term date, and student participation check box:

Anyone else seeing this or have a fix rather than manually changing this information back?

Any information would be helpful.  We have already tried to contact @jhommes@instructure.com & @priorityservicesk12@instructure.com
