Im having an issue with my laptop and canvas

When I log in thru canvas on my laptop for some reason none of my assignments pop up nor  my inbox basically nothing shows up but when I log in thru my phone I'm able to see my assignments and I can turn in assignments, why is that do I need to download something on my laptop, if someone can help me out I would appreciated, its starting to affect my grade because its making it difficult to turn in essays or assignments.

Cesar, the same thing has been happening to me for at least 4 days! I've never had trouble with canvas for the past 3 years and now I have no idea what to do. Nothing on Canvas works on my laptop computer.. it's all blank. However, some things on Canvas do work on my phone or ipad.

Welcome to the Canvas Community! Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

• Check your device compatibility: What are the basic computer specifications for Canvas?‌
• Check your browser compatibility: Which browsers does Canvas support?  Note that Internet Explorer 11 is not a supported browser.
• Try a different browser. The latest version of Chrome works great in both Windows and MacOS.
• If none of these methods solve the problem, contact Canvas Support. General instructions are in How do I get help with Canvas as a student?, but your school's support setup might vary somewhat, in which case ask your local IT Department for additional troubleshooting assistance.
