Celebrate Excellence in Education: Nominate Outstanding Educators by April 15!
# Numerous lines of the student's submission was blanketed with yellow highlight accidentally. I'd like to undo/remove the
hightlights --since they do not reflect anything, and were applied accidentally.
Solved! Go to Solution.
@margaret_alston , hover over the highlighted area and you will see a trash can icon display; click on the trash can to remove the highlighting. Details are in the Add Highlight Annotation section of https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-26515-how-do-i-add-annotated-comments-in-student-submission...

Yes, thank you!!
I finally realized that clicking on the verbiage highlighted reveals the
trash can (Icon) which when clicked removes the highlight annotation.
Clicking again on the highlight icon itself does not. It doesn't work like
a toggle switch.
