How do I Create a Question BANK by copying a word doc from my MAC into Canvas Q bank and still keep all the formatting?

I need to copy my Exam word doc question files which are large - over 100 questions per exam - from my MAC  into a Canvas Question Bank or directly into a Canvas Quiz/test

I need to keep the formatting 

I cannot find a 'How to Create a Question Bank and I also cannot find HOW to copy a word doc format into QUIZZES or Quiz Bank

PLEASE HELP 

I am so frustrated to not be able to just get what I need without reading through a list of hundreds of options

Hello there, @emcguir1 ...

I am sorry to see that your question has been sitting out here in the Community for such a long time without any replies.  I'm not sure if you've found a solution to your question by now, but I thought I'd provide a possible solution for you...  We use program called Respondus 4.0 Exam Authoring Tool to batch-upload quiz questions into Canvas.  Depending on the kind of file you use to upload your questions, you can do some simple formatting (bold, underline, italics, subscript, superscript, etc.) that will transfer into Canvas.  I've written an entire blog posting about it that you might find helpful: Batch Uploading Quiz Questions with Respondus - Canvas Community.
