How do I retrieve my files I uploaded on Canvas from last year?

How do I retrieve the files I uploaded as a teacher from previous years?  I need access to uploads from last year.

Hi again,  @marla_chaney 

Accessing them depends greatly on how your school concludes past courses. Since Canvas never deletes or archives and neither do many schools, those past courses should be available to you. However, you may need to talk with your Canvas Admin/Support department to get that availability.

Once they are available, you would use the Course Import Tool to move that content into new course shells, or simply download your files from that course and store them wherever.
