Each assignment appearing twice -- on grading page.

My grading page all of my assignments listed twice. Wondering why it is automatically duplicating.

Would you happen to be able to provide us with a screen shot of what you are seeing? Please make sure to remove or hide any student data.

Do you happen to have quizzes and or discussions with the same names as your assignments?

When I create a quiz, I click on quiz, then new, complete the process and save it.  When it comes time to attach it to my module I will go to the quiz and click copy quiz, walk through the steps of copying it to my module, however it is now duplicated in the quiz tab.  How do I create a quiz and link it to my module so that it doesn't show up twice?

don't "copy" to the module.  you should be selecting the + button on the module to add the quiz to your module.  when you copy it to the same course, you are going to see these kind of problems. the copy option works as expected when you copy to a different course.

I also have the same issue of having the same assignments twice under grades and my students see those two entries too. Originally and  by mistake I copied the quizzes from another course when I should have left them alone as they are sync to a third party Publisher. I deleted the "copied" quizzes and let the sync happens and problem solved UNTIL I inserted (not copied) the quizzes under Modules for each lesson. Then it reappeared the duplication and it is truly a mess. It appears graded quizzes come from the quizzes not imbedded in the Modules but I can't unpublish the ones without a grade as I click unpublish and when I go back to assignement , the publish selection is back on. I do not know what to do. Please Help. Thank you

@TaylorHickey  Based on the screenshot, you're a student, yes? If so, please contact the course instructor to ask them to investigate this on your behalf.
