Canvas session timeout setting

Hi,

We are currently reviewing our session timeout setting of 24 hours. This seems way too long from a security aspect and I would want it set much shorter - say 2 hours.

This is a balancing act, as we don't want to time out users that are taking quizzes with long answers, taking breaks while working in canvas, etc.

We would like to get a feel of what other institutions have set their session timeout to and what feedback or problems that setting has caused.

Yes, I know our CSM can set this value. I am wanting input from other institutions on what they think that value should be.

Apparently, ours is at the default (48 hours)....
