Can you view if students watch embedded videos in assingments?

If a video is embedded as part of an assignment is it possible to see if a student has watched it from start to finish?  If so can it also be linked to an outside source such as youtube?

Do you know if your school has purchased Canvas Studio through Instructure?  This would allow you to see "Insights" and determine if your students are watching all or parts of videos in your course.  How do I view user insights and analytics for media in Canvas Studio?
