Are there 2 different versions of Canvas ? Because my Canvas that I have been using for 3 semesters looks nothing like this. I watched a video that my history teacher put up about replying to discussions and so on...as he is navigating through the video.....the program looks completely different. And has several differences in the course navigation panel and so on.

 @baucomj121 , in general, there is one "version" of Canvas, but, each school can edit and tweak it to make it their own. Because of this, it's possible that your school has updated/revised its Canvas environment. If you are truly curious, I'd recommend contacting Canvas Support at your school and see what information they have about this question.
