There are a variety of reasons why a password reset request may not be going through.  A better option than posting here would be to contact your school's IT helpdesk directly.  This is a worldwide forum of Canvas users and since each school runs their instance of Canvas a little differently, that is the best place to start when it comes to log in issues.
