How do I make Announcements visible to students?

Hi  @katharina_roone  Welcome to the Canvas Community!

I suspect you are referring to making the course menu link for Announcements visible to students, rather than the individual announcements in that section.  The guide below will help, but essentially you.....

• Click on Settings,
• Click on the Navigation tab,
• Scroll down to Announcements, and drag it up to the top half of the page.

So, I've done this...and next to the Announcements tab, it shows the "crossed out eye" and says that Announcements isn't visible to students.  Is there another setting somewhere?
