I am a mentor for new teachers in a district which is using Canvas.  What needs to be done in order for me to be able to view the online classes of these teachers?

Hello @jim999 , you need to have someone with teacher or most likely admin access to your Canvas instance add you to those courses.  The teacher should be able to add you as an observer which will at least let you view the content.  Depending on your institution and what they allow, the teacher may be able to add you in other roles as well but many institutions block that level unless you are at the "admin" level in Canvas.
