I downloaded what i thought was a single section, but it was the entire year for a Community College. I would like to delete the entire class and start over, but i can't find anywhere that I can do that.

Mary,
In your course go to Settings, and look on the right side of the page for a Reset Course Content button. This will remove everything (except people) and set the content back to as if it was a new course. I know this doesn't help with your current situation, but it's one of the reasons I usually suggest never importing from Commons into a "real" course unless you really know what is there. If you are able to create a course from your Canvas dashboard, I often do that and import from Commons into it so I can see the content better before pulling into a real course.
