[ARCHIVED] attach power point file readable by students

Trying to attach a power point file I uploaded,but it states closed when in student view. How do I open it so students can see

There are a couple factors that could be in play here

• First you'll want to make sure the file is not restricted from student view.  How do I restrict files and folders to students in Canvas? 
• Then you may want to check in Modules (if it is housed in modules) that it is published there.How do I publish or unpublish a module as an instructor?
