[ARCHIVED] Why is one student's log in times identical to mine?

I have noticed that I have one student whose log-in times seem to be precisely tracked to mine. In other words, if I log in to Canvas at 3:12 p.m. on Nov. 28th, the "People" screen shows that he logs in AT THE VERY SAME TIME. This does not happen with any of my other students. But with this student it happens repeatedly, consistently, and over several weeks. Does anyone know what causes this?

Hi Barbara,

Are you referring to the time entry under "Last Activity"? The student is not necessarily logging in at the same time as you but is logged in and active when you look at the People page. That's a good thing right?

Last Activity is not the same thing as Log in, it's the last time someone has viewed a page or submitted an assignment/quiz.
