[ARCHIVED] Why can't my students utilize the rubric in their peer reviews?

Hello!  One of my students just informed me that when accessing a fellow student's submission to peer review, the rubric would not allow her to add in number ratings or comments for various parts of the rubric.  What might be the issue here?

Hi  @mmv5239  just a quick followup.  Is the student able to access the rubric and click on a particular cell to give students the score for that criteria and is the student able to leave general comments in the space under the rubric?  Also, I know that in my testing when I act as a student and look at the rubric, I often have to use the scroll button at the bottom of the rubric window to move this over enough to see where I can type in a score.  Perhaps the student doesn't realize that the rubric can be moved in the viewing window.  I also would suggest that the student try in another web browser if he/she has not.  Chrome and Firefox seem to work the best for us but sometimes an issue appears in one browser but does not another.  If all else fails, the student may want to contact Canvas support to see if they can problem solve (see https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10554-4212710328 ).

Hi Eric,

Thank you for your quick response.  My students said the "Save Comment" button in the rubric was not responding.  Is this issue common?  What might I suggest they do?

Hi  @mmv5239   No, it wouldn't be normal for the save button not to work.  The students might try in both Chrome and Firefox, but otherwise the best option would be for them to contact Canvas Support as an agent would be able to work with them on what may be happening and if a bug exists to submit a ticket.
