In the following screenshot below (taken from the article How do I set details for an account? > View Who Can Create New Courses), if one user is enrolled as a teacher in one course and a student in another, which setting takes priority? Will it be a teacher or a student? Please clarify.

NOTE

Dropping a self-registration class from Canvas won't remove your registration completely; it only moves it to Past Enrollments.

View Who Can Create New Courses

Admins and teachers can create new courses here, but what if that teacher is also a student in another course? This needs to be clarified.

(A) TEACHERS

Users with existing teacher roles can create new courses.

(B) USERS WITH NO ENROLLMENTS

New users to Canvas.

(C) STUDENTS

Students can create courses.
