What is the best depository for student files, e.g. Word documents?

Hello  @jmcguire5  Welcome to the Canvas Community.  Thank you for posting your question.  Every Canvas course has a "Files" area where you can store course files and make them available to your students.  Once these files and folders have been loaded into your course, you can then link to those files from various places in your course.  (Students cannot load files to the course "Files" area.)  First, check out this tutorial video: .  Then, if you want to dive deeper into how "Files" works, then you can review these written Guides.

Wherever you have access to the Rich Content Editor (RCE) in your course, then you can link to files you've uploaded to your course "Files".
