Our course design relies on having audio links available as text links for for download. It doesn't seem like this is possible anymore with the RCE enhancements unless we pull code from the previous version.  Are the also display options for audio?  If not, please make this an option since we want students to be able to download audio and not just have the player as an option!

@carly3 Do you mean the little media tool like this:

If so, you will want to contact your school's Canvas Admin as when the new RCE was released, they added the ability to turn that button off.  I know we turned it off as we pay for other media tools (like Canvas Studio) and did not want instructors to keep uploading media directly to Canvas courses as that eats up your course space.

Thanks! We also pay for studio.  What we want is the ability to post links to audio files for direct download.  So these are stored in the course files, not Studio. Here's a screenshot:

We want the ability to add the audio links for direct download as they appear above.  We had to turn the RCE enhancements off to keep that functionality, but recently Canvas took away our ability to turn off the RCE.  Any ideas? Thanks!
