[ARCHIVED] Viewing students separately

Is it possible that Canvas does not allow parents to choose a student and just view that child's information without having to see all children? Seems like this is the case. Honestly seems like an easy fix. So my question why and can you fix it? This is the way the app works. Having parents color code and rename things seems like a weak work around. Am i missing something?

The desktop has the same limitation. In addition, I am seeing class information that is 2 years old, for health classes and such that my younger son will be taking in the spring. When I check homework or grades, the info I get is from my older son in 2020. There are several places in Canvas where it should be possible to choose the student. It would also be more user-friendly if I could change the class while remaining in the grades view.
