[ARCHIVED] User Agent Error - Chrome User Showing up as Safari User

There have been instances where students and teachers have had errors accessing Canvas. But the odd thing is that when asked what browser they are using, they insist that they are using Chrome while the Canvas database shows they were using Safari. This makes it difficult for us to pinpoint the issue and help them trouble shoot.
We do not see any reason for them to lie about which browser they are using, so are there any glitches similar to this? And are there any solutions?
