I read previous forums that canvas does not notify you if a change was made to a syllabus. However, I was wondering if there is anyway to see if changes were made. I am almost positive a professor made changes to the syllabus, but I didn’t save it; therefore, I don’t know for sure. Is there a way to go back to a previous syllabus file?

At my community college, instructors are required to upload PDF files of their syllabi on the college's website at the beginning of the semester. Perhaps you can locate the original syllabus of the class that way.

I think it would be fine to ask your professor if he or she has modified the syllabus as well.
