[ARCHIVED] Studio Video Quiz: If I enter a manual 0, can student still take the quiz and earn credit?

I have some assignments that are embedded Video Quizzes. There are no late penalties; I want students to complete the Video Quizzes even if late. If I manually enter a 0 into a missing quiz, can students still take the quiz and earn a new score that will overwrite my manual 0? I want them to able to do this; but I need to put in the zeros to make it clear that they do not have 100% score in that category if they are missing assignments! Thanks. (I did not set any "Available" dates in the assignment; they are always available to view and submit regardless of listed due date.)
