[ARCHIVED] Student can't view the 'current groups' under the Groups tab

Hi community,

A student can't seem to see the 'current groups' under the Canvas Groups tab, even though the student is enrolled to the course and assigned to a group. The student is also able to see the course and everything, the only issue is not being able to see the group which also means the students isn't receiving any announcements/news for that group.

This is how it's usually supposed to look (see image below) but now there are no groups shown in this list. What could the reason be for this issue?
