Is there a way to skip or hide the opening and closing screens of quizzes?
- Opening: "Take the Survey"
- Closing: "Correct answers are hidden"
I'd like this:
- Students read a page of content then choose Next
- Quiz opens straight away to the first question
- Students complete questions
- Students choose Submit Quiz
- Next page opens straight away (without showing the screen which has results or says answers are hidden)

This is not a feature that is available in Canvas. However it may be something that your administrators can accommodate by using custom CSS. I recommend reaching out to your admins or local IT department to see if they currently use custom CSS and would be interested in writing script for your needs. Bear in mind that this will impact all users for an account and would not be for a single user/teacher if they are able to do that.
