[ARCHIVED] Since update the email doesn't work properly

Ever since the last update, I am having tremendous problems with the email in Canvas. I am having trouble choosing the class I want in order to access the students names I need to send a message to. It used to work perfectly every time, now I sit and spend WAY TOO MUCH TIME trying to get it to populate the class. It is SO very frustrating. I have colleagues who have reported the same issue, so I know it's not just me. I can't find info on it because I'm not sure what search terms to use. Any advice?
