[ARCHIVED] Sharing Assignments in Commons

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to share an assignment to Commons that has linked files within it?  Previously, once I shared the assignment in Commons because the file is linked in my Canvas Course it would not work.  When I tested it the link for the file now it did work but I am not sure if someone else downloads it, the file will still work.  I am wondering if I should share the assignments in a different way.

Hi Christina,

This is a bug that we need to fix so that linked files stay linked after being shared. I did create a short screencast showing how you can relink the file so that you can still utilize that resource. As well as shared a couple other ideas on how you could share resources in Commons.
