[ARCHIVED] Shareable link assignment submissions to google docs not opening

Hi.

I like to have students hand in assignments as editable, shareable links.  For various reasons, this is how I prefer to do it.

Normally, say in speed grader, I can click on the link and the linked doc opens right up.

Now, however - in the last week or so - the links have ceased opening.  Instead, I get a blank page, a frowny gdoc icon, and the message:

"accounts.google.com refused to connect."

It's not a problem with the link.  I can copy the link into a new browser window and the linked doc opens fine.  I don't want to do that with hundreds of assignments every week, tho.  It seems to be happening with all the students.
