[ARCHIVED] Setting Up Manual Grading

Hi.  For the seasoned CANVAS users, please don't laugh!  I am new to Canvas, using it for the first time this summer..and learning.  This fall, I will need to setup manually entered test grades for about 125 students.

The grading is based on 5 components

Test 1         20%

Test 2         20%

Test 3         20%

Final         25%

Quizzes   15% (comprised of 10 quizzes with lowest two quiz grades to be dropped)

               100%

NUMERICAL test grades will need to be entered manually. (ex:  Student makes 87.77 on test 1, 87.77 would have to be entered and that 87.77 counts for 20% of final grade) 

After all the grades are entered manually, the student's final numerical average will be assigned a LETTER grade

Can I set this up in Canvas the way we did it in BlackBoard???  Are there any suggestions that you guys can give a newcomer on setting this up?
