[ARCHIVED] Respondus Lock Down Browser app and Canvas Student app compatibility?

We've had a small number of students reporting problems when attempting to use the Respondus Lockdown Browser for iPad. What we've observed is that Respondus will open the Canvas Student app when the student takes the quiz, at which point they see the message indicating that Respondus Lockdown Browser is required and a link to download Respondus LDB. This effectively puts them in a loop as they cannot get past this page to actually take the quiz.
Removing the Canvas Student app from the iPad has been our solution, but I am wondering if any one has encountered this issue and/or come up with other solutions.

The only solution I found is to delete the student app.
the other. Issue I have is this, which I posted as a reply to another post.
Students with school issued iPads were able to take a quiz through lockdown browser (after deleting the student app) and view images in questions (png files). 2 students that had personal iPads were successful as well. Allow them had iOS 13. All students with personal iPads running iOS 14 could not see the images.
