[ARCHIVED] Providing and receiving comments in New Quiz

Initially I was allowing students more than one attempt (using the button in Settings) to correct their math work. However, I have learned that during the second attempt the answers are right there for them to look at, which defeats this purpose.

So...I decided to use the comments feature for students to show their work and provide a new answer, except I can't figure out where to see/access their comments and have a "dialogue" of sorts about a problem.

HELP??!!

I don't have an immediate answer for you, but I also allow my students to do multiple re-takes (formative assessments). The key is to give them a new problem each time based on simulated data. The exams package in R lets you do this. It takes a bit of learning, but I've found it's worth it in the end.
