Celebrate Excellence in Education: Nominate Outstanding Educators by April 15!
In the old quizzes on a questions with multiple answers it gave the students partial credit for choosing some of the correct answers, and cancelled some out if they choice wrong answers.
Example: Which of the following are color's. Select all that apply.
1. Blue
2.Orange
3. Pink
4. Red
5. Square
6. Circle
If the question is worth 1 point the student would get .25 for each right answer selected since there is 4 right answers. If they choose 3 right and 1 wrong they would lose .25
In the old quizzes it did this automatically, the new quiz platform does not. Is there anyway for me to fix this?

Greetings @taryn_howcroft Welcome to the Community! You're right that Multiple Answer questions in New Quizzes do not allow for partial credit at this time. There's not really a way for you to "fix it" that I can think of but stay tuned to the Release Notes: Canvas LMS or https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/2443-multiple-answer-quiz-question-partial-points-without-pena... because we are aware of this need and it is something we would like to make possible.

What about if teachers only want to give credit for correct answers and not penalize them for wrong answers, which is what most teachers do? How is that not a priority before penalizing? The partially correct multiple answer question type is something Moodle has had for years. The most basic way to do multiple answers is missing from this 1/15/2022 update.
And it's been in the works for over 5 years: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Question-Forum/Multiple-Answer-Questions/m-p/143999#M58612
