[ARCHIVED] Online subject log-in prompt

Hello,

I have created a assignment using the office 365 on line-submission tool.  75% of my students were able to open, edit and submit the assignment.  The other 25% of students are prompted to "Log-in"  I assume this means they need to log into Office 365.  After entering their credentials, the still are not able to access the file.  What is the "Log-in" asking them to log into?

Yes, I do believe that students would need to sign in to their O365 account.  Assuming that you created an O365 Cloud Assignment, they would need to be logged in to their O365 account because it should save a copy of the file you shared with them to their own account so they can make any edits to it without disturbing your file.  It's a copy of this file in their own account that is then submitted to you in Canvas.  Here's a Guide that describes this more: How do I create a cloud assignment with a Microsof... - Canvas Community.  I'm not sure why your students would not be able to sign in to O365, though.  This is a conversation that you might need to have with your school's local tech support team or someone from your school's Online Learning/eLearning team.
