[ARCHIVED] Omitting a student from an MCQ Assessment

Hello 

I have set up an MCQ assessment on Canvas for one class group.

I wish to exclude one student who will take the exam at a later date . Not yet decided when. I typed in all class names except hers under Assign . When I look in moderate her Name is still there. Is this correct ? Or should her name not be there to ensure she cannotse the exam tomorrow?

Hi,  @margaret_lane . We could try to figure out what's going on with the current set up of the assessment, but there is another way to go about this that might be easier. You can leave the assessment assigned to the whole class but excuse this one student using the steps in the guide, How do I change the status of a submission in the Gradebook? Later, you can set up a make-up exam and only assign it to the single student. Give this a shot and let us know if you need further assistance!
