[ARCHIVED] Not Authorised - At Login Screen (not unpublished related)

Evening all, 

A student - based in Germany - is trying to access Canvas and submit a piece of work. On the log-in screen, they get the following message: 

'Not Authorised - You are not authorised to access this site because you are located in a country subject to US trade restrictions'. 

As above, this student is in Germany and this trade restriction doesn't apply. Additionally, I have logged in - as this student - and I appear to be able to see everything fine. 

Any ideas? Thank you!

My participant is also facing this issues, and I can't seem to find a solution!
