[ARCHIVED] New Quiz not showing in Canvas course links

I just wrote a "New" Quiz in a Canvas course, and I want to link to it from a Canvas page.

I know how to do this; I do it a lot.

But the Quiz I've just created isn't showing up in the sidebar that opens when you select "link" and then "course links".

The Quiz is published. What am I doing wrong??

Hi @lglen2 -

With this menu, have you checked under Assignments? I know it's a Quiz, but the way New Quizzes are created, you may see it appear in that list.

I am not seeing the New Quizzes option in my settings or in any of the courses.  Can someone help me?

Hello @UHTechLady ...

New Quizzes might not yet be available at your school.  Not every school that uses Canvas as their LMS (Learning Management System) has chosen to make it available to instructors and students yet.  You'll need to reach out to your school's local Canvas administrator or someone from your school's Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Education department to see what their plan is to make New Quizzes available to you and your colleagues.  I found this page on East Tennessee State University's website, but it doesn't really look like there is any contact information on it:

...though at the end of the embedded video on that page, the narrator shows how to submit an online form for help...so that might be the way to go.
