[ARCHIVED] My login in credentials won’t work on my canvas student app but they work on my browser, what should I do?

I am unsure how to fix this issue.

Hi Baily -

The first thing I would double-check is that you're signing into your school's unique "piece" of Canvas. When you open Canvas Student, tap "find my school" then type your school or district's name. For many students, the school pops up in that list. Then, your log-in credentials will work.

In the event that your school is not listed, you can type the same URL that you use in a browser (when you go to sign in) in the spot where you tried searching. example: myschool.instructure.com --- but you'd replace the "myschool" part with the correct information.

Hi Baily - It looks like you're supposed to use the "Free for Teacher"instance of Canvas. SO! from that sign-in page, type canvas.instructure.com then your credentials will work!

Thank you! That worked for the class I TA for but for some reason I am still unable to get into the class I am a student in.
