[ARCHIVED] Mastery Path Score Ranges

Would someone mind explaining how the score ranges work for Mastery Paths? If a student, completing the initial quiz in the example below, achieved a score of 3 would they be placed on the bottom or middle quiz?

When I look at the Mastery Paths breakdown (image on right), the score of 3 is in both ranges (0pts to 3pts AND 3pts to 5pts).

I've read the guides and watched relevant clips and their screenshots also appear to have overlapping scores.

I also encountered this issue.  It really needs to automatically recognize that the bottom path points should not meet or exceed the next level path points.  

However, to fix this in the mean time, you would just need to make the 2nd tier path a point level that can't be reached, basically, which would eliminate the ability to do 1 point per question.  Try doing two points per question and making those 2nd and 3rd tiers start on an odd number so that it doesn't overlap.  

Not ideal by any means.  Hopefully Canvas will address this, though.
