I  have my syllabus in a pdf file. How do I load it into Canvas?

The link that @bneporadny had included in his original response was when the Community was using a different platform.  Instructure moved to a different platform around August 2020, and some of the links from the old platform didn't migrate properly.  I believe he was pointing to:
