[ARCHIVED] Links in External Sites to open in App

I have created a bitmoji virtual classroom and embedded the Google Slide into my Canvas homepage. Within the Google Slide, I have links to different areas of my course- to streamline navigation for parents and students. When students open the link, however, the link open in the internet browser instead of the app (in which they are already logged into and accessing). 

Is there a way to create a link in a Google Slide so that it redirects the student within the Canvas app?
