I feel your pain. I don't have any influence over changing it but perhaps a few suggestions which might help. The fields appear to be dynamic to the number of characters displayed for the file name is dependent on several factors; some of which you can change. Suggestions/possible work arounds:
- Make sure your web browser is as wide as it will go on your monitor to maximize the amount of screen real estate to display on
- Minimize your course navigation to give you more screen real estate by click the 3 lines on the top left of the screen. Examples below with normal navigation, vs minimizing the navigation. Notice the first filename shows approximately 8 more chacters
- Change the Zoom on your Browser. In Chrome you can do this by clicking the icon in the upper right corner and looking at the Zoom section. With that same sample as above when I took my zoom to 67% without minimizing my navigation, I could see the full file name.
I don't pretend that my suggestions above are fixes as I would never do any of these on a regular basis, but they are quick work arounds you can try when you need to be able to see those longer file names.
