Hello,
Just recently (around 9/18), the keyboard function stopped working in my Canvas Teacher app. The keyboard pops up for me to log in, but once I start trying to grade if I click on a field to grade the keyboard does not pop up any more.
More Info
-I'm using Samsung Galaxy S5
-The keyboard works fine on all other apps
-I have tried:
>>Restarting
>>Logging in and out
>>Reinstalling
>>Uninstalling the Student version of Canvas
>>Making sure that my keyboard was performing normally
-Canvas still works fine on my computer
-The paste option still works, so I could copy and paste comments or scores into the fields.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you. They helped me solve the problem. I emptied the app cache before deleting and reinstalling.

I'm glad you found a fix! I also wanted to add that there is a new Android update to version 6.9 that fixes keyboard issues in the app. Hopefully, that will have a permanent fix.
