[ARCHIVED] Is there a student vs. Teacher view on Canvas?

I attended the Canvas 101 training last week. I logged into the course and it seems as though I may be in Canvas as a student now. 

How do i change that?

Hi  @rfrank4  Welcome to the Canvas Community.

Even if you are a teacher you might be in enrolled in some Canvas courses as a student. The training course is a good example of this. Then you get to experience Canvas as a student.

Your overall role however will be as a teacher in Canvas when you create course content for your students in your own Canvas environment. If this is still not the case then it would pay to contact your admin people at your institution to rectify your Canvas status.
