Celebrate Excellence in Education: Nominate Outstanding Educators by April 15!
I have recently added the apps GeoGebra and Graph Builder to my Canvas course. Only the latter then becomes included as an External Tool. I much prefer the former (especially for the sliders).
I see only one question posted related to this from over a year ago: I'd like to add GEOGEBRA to the side bar. How do I do this?
Is GeoGebra not supported as an External Tool in Canvas?

Hi @jeffrey_weimer Welcome to the Canvas Community.
Great question, I've heard good things about Geogebra.
As far as I know you can add it as an 'External Tool' as part of an assignment submission, or add it as an 'External Tool' as part of an item in a Module.
That seems to be exactly what was offered in your link too.
I noticed that Geogebra is available in the Edu App Center.

OK. Found it.
I had hoped it might appear in Discussions as well. I'll just add it to a Module as a reference and then link a Discussion note.
Thank you.
It is possible to add Geogebra as an 'External Tool' in Modules and as part of an assignment submission.
The problem is that it is not possible for the student to submit the assignment. The student can use the tool, but there is no button or link to submit and if they just leave the assignment the work is lost.
Is this an error in the LTI or in Canvas?
I have also wanted to add GeoGebra, but I get a 404 error as an external tool, and the only connection is to GeoGebra as a calculator and none of the activities. So not very effective......
