Yes it's simple, but also not. I will need a bit more information as I am not in your course or at your institution.

eTextbooks usually incur a cost, so I am wondering who covers the cost of it in your course.

Is this particular eTextbook part of your course? Is everyone in the course supposed to have access to it through your course?

I've found a few websites that can help with downloading books eg. 7 Awesome Websites for Downloading Free PDF Books (2020) Is that what you are after?
