[ARCHIVED] How do we, as parents, view/verify whether or not the work assigned has been completed in Canvas?

I'm so used to saying bring me your completed work (back when it was done on paper) so I can check it. Now, all my kids are saying they've done it already in canvas. Last week I found out from one of my middle child's teachers, that was not at all true.

Hi Camille -

As an observer, the best resource for you would be the Grades page within any course. (How do I view my grades in a current course?‌) There is lots of information available there.

Also, you could look at the Canvas Parent mobile app. There are screens that summarize a week's activity at a time, and use labels to see what has been submitted and what is missing. (What is the Canvas Teacher app?‌)
