Hello @Witch1 Here are a few guides that will walk you through using the Inbox tool in Canvas.  Email in Canvas is under the "Inbox" button and in other areas it is also referred to as "Conversations", both are just Canvas' email tool.

Hi!

As an Observer, you have options. It also depends on how the teachers prefer to be contacted. (Some teachers prefer the Canvas Inbox while others prefer district mail.) If you use the Canvas Parent app, there's an awesome way to inquire about progress too! You can send a message from an assignment, and it's helpful as a conversation develops.
