[ARCHIVED] How do I delete old courses?

I have 2 classes from Spring 2019 that still show up on my Canvas. I have asked Canvas 3 times how to get rid of them and zero success. I even asked the professors to remove them (one has not replied and one said she would but she hasn't). I'm tired of seeing them and only being able to move them to the bottom. Is there any way to delete those classes so their squares don't show up on my Canvas?

Thank you for your assistance, but it still does not allow me to remove the old course. They are not favorited (by clicking on the star) and as I toggle over the star, it tells me "This course cannot be added to the courses menu at this time". The star remains unchecked and the course (2 courses actually) menial on my list of courses.

Basically, you can't disappear your other courses until you choose a course ONE course as a favorite by clicking the star. When you click the star the other courses will disappear on your dashboard once you click dashboard again.
